For this first attempt, there should be at least one woman in each of the qualifying stories, preferably with more than just a walk-on role. That means you'll have to have at least three stories of 500+ words or five stories of 100+ words with at least one woman in each to qualify in the fandoms you sign up with. However, you are not required to remix one of the three-or-five (unless, of course, that's all your remixee has written).

I can't stop anyone from remixing a story that only has men, but all remixes should have at least one woman in a prominent role. To that end, I'm discouraging (though not dis-allowing) remixing slash-pairing stories, as writing about a m/m relationship from a female POV is not really in the spirit of the exchange.
